new york

Have you not been to New York yet? Well, you definitely should. It has been my dream to return here since a high school trip back in 2009. There are hundreds of reasons but here are enough to inspire you to go visit The Big Apple.

  • The skyline
  • It’s a sleepless city
  • There’s an unlimited amount of tourist attractions
  • You’ve heard of the Empire State Building? Go there.
  • Or how about the Statue of Liberty?
  • Visiting Ellis Island is a must
  • You ask for a medium meal at McDonald’s – you are going to get an extra-large
  • Pancakes for breakfast mmm…
  • For even bigger food lovers – BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP
  • You see it, you want it, you have to go inside to eat
  • Which then leads to  acting out an endless amount of lines from the film
  • Those fantastic musicals on Broadway
  • The city looks amazing, whatever the weather
  • Central Park is here
  • And if you love Friends, you’ll love New York
  • And there’s ice-skating… need I say more?

Well I’m going to because…

  • You feel like you are living in a dream
  • The library (New York Public Library) from The Day After Tomorrow – you’ll see it here
  • There are H&M stores everywhere
  • You’ll feel like a queen shopping in Macy’s
  • Times Square
  • Lights, camera, action
  • You see the scenes from movies
  • So much that, you imagine Spider-Man doing one of his scenes in Times Square
  • The Disney Store is like nothing you’ve seen before
  • Oh and Toys R Us brings out the real kid in you
  • Museum of Modern Art
  • Even if you don’t like art, you’ll like this museum
  • There’s the Metropolitan Museum of Art too
  • Grand Central Terminal
  • Those fire stations
  • Brooklyn Bridge
  • Rockefeller Center
  • Fifth Avenue
  • Chrysler Building
  • Wall Street
  • St Patrick’s Cathedral
  • When you return home, all you want to do is travel back to New York

I will go back here one day. Check out the official guide here.
